    Here I am again with another silkie. Sold to me as a hen, roughly 5 months old. Please tell me it’s in fact a hen! Lol. Unfortunately has like a single/ walnut comb mix but it’s small. I’ll insert a picture of the rooster she was sold with as a pair too.

    I think you’re right because I had several chicks that hatched looking paint. They died unfortunately so I didn’t get to see them grow out but I was told a dominant and a recessive white will create “paints.” Wish I could’ve seen them reach maturity!

    I bought hatching eggs from a local breeder who has BBS with some being showgirls. The first chick that’s hatched is a showgirl with 4 toes. Is that typical for showgirls? I know it’s not ideal for silkies so I’m feeling disappointed. Also, what color is this chick?
