    Harriet Went Swimming at 3A.M.

We are concerned and wonder if she flew or something dragged her and dropped her. The little ones go into their coop in the evenings but this was a night that doesn't happen too often (forgetting to secure their coop door). We ended up ordering an auto door closure as a form of back up.

    Harriet Went Swimming at 3A.M.

Mom said last night she heard something at 3A.M. so she got out of bed to check on the littles. Emerson (our rooster) was standing as close to the sliding glass door as possible, crowing (not normal for him) into the glass. Unable to stand or walk

Update! It’s been five months and Thàvma has not made the progression that we were hoping for but she’s doing good. Unable to stand or walk

That’s heartwarming! I hope the little one has a full life. I miss having little chicks! Such a cute age. Unable to stand or walk

It made perfect sense and I appreciate your advice and kind words! I find her standing at times and taking a few steps but her progress is incredibly delayed. Let’s hope a bit of PT, sunshine, and time with her siblings is just what she needs!

    Unable to stand or walk

You are so kind; thank you. I actually have two others that are ten and the rest of the girls (and one boy) are two.

    Unable to stand or walk

I have a chicken who is ten years old; Thàvma. She was healthy and thriving then one day recently, she disappeared. We looked all over for her (we have over ten acres) and ultimately found her ten days later. She was found against the pool equipment and when I picked her up, she was alert and...
