<UPDATE Resolved!> Quick question: New Run Build, Post Depth

:weeThank you so much! It looks like there are corrosion resistant post connectors so I’ll keep that in mind if I decide to use them. I appreciate you looking things up and sharing visuals with me, as well.

<UPDATE Resolved!> Quick question: New Run Build, Post Depth

Great, thanks for the insight! We haven’t been super windy historically but these past few years of climate changes have brought some high velocities that are felling trees in the forest. I’m surrounded by woodlands so they absorb most of the wind, but better safe than sorry with the lean-to...

Very thorough, thanks for detailing your rebuild and sharing! I especially appreciated the lists of what you did right vs what you wouldn’t do again.

<UPDATE Resolved!> Quick question: New Run Build, Post Depth

And just to make sure I understand what we’re talking about first since I’m a newbie - the frost line is how deep into...

<UPDATE Resolved!> Quick question: New Run Build, Post Depth

I’m building a 10’x20’ lean-to style run using 4x4 10’ and 12’ posts. Can I bury them 2’ or do I need to do 3’? And if I do 2’, I need to use concrete? I don’t want this structure flipping in any windstorms. Thank you!
