One leg is stiff and the other moves around but she doesn't seem to feel it, she also isn't laying eggs at the moment, she's just getting poop stuck that ends up looking like she has an egg
That's exactly what's she's doing right now, but I don't think she's hit her head recently unless it was when it first happened, does it happen gradually? because if so this might be it
I tried to open the link but it says I'm unauthorised or something. Also she's eating but not drinking as much. She's breathing from her mouth at the moment
She's now unable to use either of her legs, the one she was able to use until now seens almost too flexible and has no restrain when moved. As much as I'd like to solve the issues, I'd also like to know what it is that's happening to her as she has lived the same way my currently healthy quails...
More to add, as she's been hopping on one leg, she's rubbed the bottom of it where the elbow/knee is and now she's using her wings to lift herself up. I also earlier today thought she had an egg stuck but turns out it was hard lumps of poop that I've tried to get out without harming anything but...
The others are too much for her and knock her around so she is in a separate cage (they live indoors, tried them outside when they where young but they didn't do great) she also has a blanket for support so she can lean on it and I have tried warm water for her leg but I'll try it with epsom...
The same quail I had made a thread about before, I had taken to the vet and it didn't get better or worse but recently she has not been able to use the leg at all, it's gone completely stiff and looks a bit thinner than the other aswell as what I think are veins not where they should be in the...
She's now not using the foot at all, she's hopping around and dragging the leg, she also doesn't seem to feel the foot when I try and see if she would push her foot against my finger, which she doesn't on that one foot
She lives indoor and I let her on the floor for a bit while I took a picture but she doesn't keep still despite having an issue with her foot. I've also noticed a big bump on her chest, which doesn't seem the same as when they eat. (It still could just be food)
When one of my quails walks she limps and doesn't put the one foot down to stand or walk on it and when she tries she walks with the top of the foot facing down/folded, I don't know what's happened. It doesn't look like it's broken or bumble foot, however she is 2 years old so if it's an age...
