    Thank you so much for all of the responses.. my wife and I are very grateful. API EI - erythromycin for fish is what I found in my area. Would this work for now until we can get Fish Mox?

    Thanks for all the info. I am going to try and get antibiotics asap. An update: she actually laid an egg this morning. Seems as big and solid as one's in the past. I am hoping this is a good sign?

    Also they do carry durvet injectable penicillin at the TSC by me. I could get that instead of fish mox. If I do that what is the dosage?

    Thank you! The white gunk is the antiseptic spray. Is the fish mox good enough of an antibiotic? Having trouble finding a vet that cares for chickens to get a prescription antibiotic. She's been eating good, her regular food, some meal worm treats and oatmeal (her favorite).

    That's ridiculous, i can understand not allowing roosters on less than 3 acres but there is no reason not to allow other resident to have hens. I'd happily support the change. Good thing you told me because i was going to get chicks from tractor supply in the spring
