    I did get an automatic door for the coop. I'm going to wire it into the solar system my shed runs on. We plan to let them out of the run on occasion, but mostly when we're hanging out in the backyard for the day. Where we live in town raccoons are just about the only predators we have to worry...

    Has a roof and got the bottom all finished up. The corrugated is buried about 12" into the ground. I will build the door next and then start framing out the actual coop portion.
