I found several people selling eggs on ebay for less than Greenfire was charging. Unfortunately, I ended up with only 2 hens (one of which was sickly and died young) and many roosters. They are beautiful and sweet chickens.

After hatching many eggs this year and ending up with 9 roos and only 2 pullets, I can tell the difference by the behavior. The roos start sparring fairly early and the pullets mostly stand back and watch. Pullets do very little sparring, but the roos think it is a great pass time.
