Ok, this is the only quail that I can't figure if it is male or female. The white patch on its chest is throwing me off. Im thinking Male, but a second opinion is always good. Thanks for your help.
well, I hatched some quail eggs that i bought at these two hatched. I have only ever hatched the regular brown coturnix quail, so I have no idea ( well i sort of have an idea) whether these two are males? and exactly what color variety are they? Thanks for your help.

When I bought this Red Sexlink, we were told it was a female... but I am not so sure. Any help would be great.
It's got such big feet that we have named it big foot. I thought that the female red sexlinks had more red and less white.

I have a 2 day old chick..she can hardly stand..she hobbles. Sleeps almost all day.

21 days ago we bought fertilized eggs and placed them under my broody Orpington.. today is hatch day.. She has done a really great job sitting on them eggs. I candled them at day 10 while she was off the nest to eat and we had 5 eggs with chicks growing inside... I am really resisting the urge...
