    Did you have any solution? I have a beautiful Australorp who sat on a clutch of eggs last April and has been odd hen out ever since. This week her feathers finally began to burst forth again, she was covered in pin feathers, and I thought finally she wouldn't be bald any more. About 6 days...

    Teaching Chickens to Drink from Nipple Waterer

    We made a terrific nipple waterer from a 5-Gal bucket and nipples, but CANNOT seem to teach them to use it. They are 3 months old. I've held a treat up to the nipple to teach them, even slipped a wire around one nipple to create a constant drip, it is high enough for it to be right in their face.
