    Lightening, I just finished a hatch and had much of the same trouble you have had. The first hatched just fine but had one crooked neck in there.     Has anyone ever used the heating elements from a hot water tank? My Natureform incubator has elements similar to those so I was just curious. If os how did they work and did they keeo a good consitant heat?...Thanks.

I have a friend who used to raise Ostriches and Emu's...He gave me one of his NatureForms Incubatots....I modified the trays with egg cartons and rigged up a hatching tray.....It has certainly been a blessing getting a bator of that...

    60 out of 60 eggs.....Wellsummer, RIR and a few WSx's. I have 74 hatch out Monday. Hope I am as blessed on that hatching.

    Hatching June 28th and July 4th......

    I have 60 to hatch out July 4th. Some Wellsummer, RIR & 1/2 Wellsummer x 1/4 Delaware x 1/4 New Hampshires....Then July 6th, 76 more of the same........Had 21 Wellsummers set to hatch today and so far 18 has hatched. Hopefully the other three will be out when I get home. Good luck, Kevin

    What am I doing wrong?

    It is also best to let your shipped eggs settle for 48 hours before incubating.
