    I plan to cut the flight feathers but??

    I plan to cut the flight feathers from my hens as they are flying out of their enclosure and we have dogs and other predators. My question is if i cut the flight feathers will they still be able to get to their roosts? i have roosting poles at 2' and 4' will they be able to get up to them?

    Chicken attacked by dog

    Hello all. I had a dog get into my chicken run and attack my hens. Unfortunately the one hen my kids have adopted as a pet was attacked and left with what appears a broken leg. The hen just drags this leg behind as she hops around. What if anything can be done for this chicken? Thanks,
