    Looking for a non-traumatic way to euthanize my injured rooster -- suggestions?

    I realize that you already killed the rooster but for anyone else looking for an answer, I had read to cull a chicken you aren't going to eat, put it in a Rubbermaid tub with a rag sprayed down with engine de-greaser. They just go to sleep.

    Our buff Orpington has an eye infection

    I use one quart of boiled water and one tablespoon of Boric Acid for my children's eye infection. A couple drops twice a day and it will be gone in no time. It works better and faster than prescription eye drops. Just use a syringe without a needle to get it in her eye.
