    New to silkie hatching. Any ideas on color? Possible Roo-dark blue and light blue. Possible hen-splash, black. I am guessing I have a light splash, dark splash a light blue and dark blue. Thoughts? TIA

    @YardBirdMom fortunately for Romie the dog, I love her very much and this is the only bad thing she has ever done! She really is the best dog ever except for this!

    Sorry that happened! At our old house we had a fridge in our game room. We kept all the deer meat in it. Same thing happened and we didn't know until it was rancid! I had to empty it because my hubs was pucking in the trash bag everytime he turned to grab the meat. Not fun!!! Blood was everywhere!

    Thank you so much Ashley! I can't believe your moving. I thought you just moved out to the country? So sorry you have been sick! The kids had strep on and off all winter even though we took all precautions. My hubs co workers have had it too

    Lost 2 smooth silkies babies and 2 almost mature bantam Cochins that were shipped in. They were beautiful! Found my little dog had been in the garage all night last night. She has never killed before! I just can't believe it! We are just sick! We found the other girl to the cochin trio hidden...

    I know my next question is not chicken related but you all are so knowledgable! Anyone ever treated a cat with a UTI? He has had them before but it's $100 every time we go to the vet!
