My broody is on day 19 today too! So excited for the next couple of days! She is sitting on 7 eggs. This is the first time we have tried hatching any eggs, I’m looking forward to see how it turns out.
I am curious about OPs chick as well. Mine is 10 weeks and seems fine even with the breathing and balance issues, but I worry about her. I don’t have great photos of her as a chick, but you can see how much slower she’s growing then the other 3.
Thanks for your reply, I will have to check tonight about her crop as I’ve never checked it at night, but overall she has always been a good eater. She is not being bullied, actually she’s pretty bossy to the other 3 chicks I got at the same time as her which I find amusing since she’s like half...

I added some pictures although it’s hard to tell anything by them. She is the Wyandotte. I tried to add the video of her breathing but it isn’t showing up.
Hello
I received 4 chicks on 9/1, they hatched 8/31. I noticed right away one of them seemed to be breathing heavy. Heavy enough that it moved her whole little body when she was standing still to the point she sometimes would stumble. I watched and tried to research this for a few days but no...
Hello,
I have a few chickens I’m starting to question if they may be Roosters. They are all about 13 weeks old. I got 3 RIR and 3 Barred Rocks and two of the reds look the same as the picture the third has barely and comb or wattles yet. The other two rocks don’t have the large reddish combs...
