I picked up 6 Orpingtons from Tractor Supply a week ago and noticed one of them was not like the others! Any ideas? She is getting white feathers in but they have some black in them and in her tail.
Okay thank you! The SWL really had me confused because the pattern looked like a pullet but the comb was so red and large it had me stumped! Also, the two EE have been chest bumping a ton and one bit me tonight. I don't want them to get too agressive if they are Roos
I guess I'm just looking for hope?? I'm 90% sure these guys are Roos but I just need some opinions before I start finding new homes! Thanks in advance!!
I posted about this one a few weeks ago, but thought I would update now that s/he is 8 weeks! Any new ideas?! The comb has stayed the same size and color for about 4 weeks now and in my opinion s/he is more of a black with white barring rather than white with black barring. I am new to this...
Oh well shoot! Ugh I have had three buffs so far, the first two died bc they were sick when we got them from the hatchery, and now this one isn't even a Buff Orpington!
Hi there! So I got a Buff Orpington from my local feed store, but I noticed something odd this last week, she is starting to get black feathers in her tail and on her wings. She is 5 weeks old. I have never seen this before in BO's ! Is this a male trait? Or could she be mixed with something...
