    Solonine is a ricin in nightshades, not green beans. True information, but wrong problem. Raw beans in general contain Phytohaemagglutinin and lectins that are harmful to eat raw. Their are other reasons, but this is the main one. A little surprised caffeine wasn't mentioned. Coffee...

    I hope she's still alive, but I have had good success with Blu-kote. It conceals the wound better. Red makes other birds peck. I'd separate her until she's better. We had to keep one in the bathroom for a few weeks. We set up a makeshift Brooder for her and gave her attention.

    When To Butcher Turkens

    Hi, I am purchasing turkeys as dual purpose birds. Would it be safe to say the hens (pullet) would be more tender than a roo at 20 weeks (maturity age). Is that too late to process? Thanks
