Cell cam is only showing coons, but where the chicks went missing, we have had multiple people come inspect it and there is no where that anything could have came in at. The coop is solid.

Hello, I have chicks hatching today, the temp outside right now is 85-90 degrees F. How soon can they go into the “brooder coop”. Once they are in it, they will not have access to a heat lamp but there is an insulated closed in part.
they are fairly dirty, they were collected when it was very rainy outside. they are a barn yard mix (barred rock rooster, Rhode Island Red, and barred rock hens, and a couple of others).
Today is Day 7 of the incubation process, so I need to be candling the eggs. What do I do if some of the eggs are too dirty to candle? Can these be wiped off? Thanks in advance!
I have 13 17 week old chicks, I think they are out of room in the coop they are in ( we have had 2 injured birds die) so the main flock consists of about 15 older hens and one rooster, is it too soon to mix them?
Okay, thank you for your quick responses on this thread, what is something else that is safe to use with chickens that I can use in the coop to help with smells and bugs?
