    What foods will harm chickens?

    Chickens are omnivores by nature, which includes meat, slugs, bugs and almost anything else that suits their fancy. I once had a feed store staff person tell me to never give my birds fruit because it acidifies their system and makes them stop laying. What????!!! It always comes down to "balance"
