Breed Guesses? Post 2 - Photo Heavy

Looking at what Meyer has and what I ordered, I’m thinking #14 may be Sapphire Jewels (I have to look exactly the same). The only other one that fits could be a white Plymouth rock, but since I ordered seven colored egg layers, and they guarantee at least three different breeds, I’m hoping for...

Breed Guesses? Post 1 - Photo Heavy

These are all from Meyer, hatch date of 3/27. I have a bunch of EE's that I'm pretty sure I know which they are, but the others I'm not sure about. #1 - Barred Rock? White spot on head #2 BBS Ameraucana? #3 #4 #5 #6 #7

Ordering spring chicks....so much fun. What did you get?

I just picked up my order from Meyer at the Post Office this morning. Everyone looks good so far! I got a couple different assortments so will have to try to figure out what everyone is.

Not going in coop at night

When I was in coastal SoCal, with my last flock, they started sleeping in the coop but then, when the weather was mild enough, they would sleep in the run. I had everything completely predator proofed, and finally gave up trying to get them to go into the coop at night. I had branches in the run...

    Dangerously stupid?

I’m not sure, but wanted to comment that I had a salmon Favorelle that was not at all bright, and she had to talk constantly, all day, long, about anything and everything. We lived in the city then, and I ended up, rehoming her because she was just so noisy.
