I always wanted to have a few chickens. So when My daughter was hatching eggs in her class. We decided to start a flock and bring a few home. 4 needed a home so that was our start. They were a mix of breeds.
Once I got used to taking care of them I purchased 3 Americana chicks, 3 rhode island red chicks, and 4 pullets (What the tag read.)
So as of right now, I have 14
Chickens and we love every single last one :)
