Thank you everyone.
It's been hard adjusting. I keep having to remind myself he's gone whenever I go into the bathroom he had been sleeping in.
My dad surprised us by saying that if in the future if we wanted to, we could go look at the cats at the Humane Society. He also said he truthfully...
We took Moses to the emergency vet and he ended up passing away. They did attempt CPR but he never came back. He would have been 16 later around summer.
We got to sit with him before we took him home.
It was recommended by his vet recently to add more moisture into his diet along with added protein and iron.
He already gets fed Weruva senior wet food with dry food.
Since he's always gotten raw scraps from dinner over the years, I know he won't be picky.
He'd only get the meat twice a week...
Keep our senior cat in your thoughts. He'll be seeing the vet soon for new issues that have popped up.
He's been getting senior wet food added into his diet to help as it was recommended last time he saw the vet for his loss of weight.
Still hard to believe he'll be 16 years old in a few months.
Nyx finally shredded up her collar so now I need to get her a new one. For the most part, she only really wears it when she goes to the vet or if any of the doors need to be open.
Requirements:
-Breakaway
-Non shred-able.
-No bell attached!
Thanks in advance!
Correction.
Something killed her.
The only reason I said she passed away, is because she was underneath this log/root thing that they can hide under.
My dad had removed her and said her head was gone.
What would be able to chew through hardware cloth though???? I'm a little confused on that part...
One of the Muscovy ducks got her wing clipped again. She decided an adventure in the neighbor's yard was acceptable. Thankfully it's one of our more understanding neighbors 🤦♀️
We'll be clipping the other Muscovy duck's wing tonight when they all go to bed so we aren't chasing a duck around...
Looks like she somehow got a hold of a soup bone so there's a few pieces that blocked everything up. They gave her stuff and now we just have to wait and keep an eye on her while she tries to pass it.
The vet suggested boiled chicken, plain rice, and pure pumpkin to give her in case she does eat.
