    I did in fact find a hole underneath the coop floor, which is just the dirt ground with hardware cloth covering overhead. And I know many may end up getting upset but I poured a bunch of water into the opening of the hole to flush it back where it leads. The floor had 2 layers of the 1/4" sized...

    Last night while locking the birds up, my soul basically left my body when I saw a rat running through the backyard. Now today I'm going to be spending lots of time to ensure there aren't any spots for the rat to get into their coop or yard.

    As much as I would like to avoid feed stores for ducklings, I'm might have to get some from there. A few breeders I keep talking to keep ghosting me and it's getting harder to find close enough breeders for the breeds I want. Most are either up close to the border by Canada or all the way East...

    29 today and already got asked by a complete stranger about when I'll be having kids as the time is running out. Not sure if I've mentioned here but I don't plan on having kids at all and if for some reason I changed my mind to have 1 kid, it's going to be me using both a donor and a surrogate...

    Everyone else is doing better than she is. Completely fine. Yes the ducks live with them all the time. They free range everyday under my supervision(for the most part)
