kimshimert it depends on a lot of things as to if 80% is too high. I found out on this hatch for the conditions where I live, 75% works A LOT better than the 65% I was doing on my last two hatches. It depends on how much moisture the eggs...

How long does it take for a chick to fluff? This is my first hatch and my first chick out looks like he took a bath in super glue. Do they ever need help fluffing?

I was going to do the tipping method. Does it really matter if the water stays in the little wells? If I tip & some spills out, won't it still evaporate anyways?
I am so excited! This is my first hatch! I have had my incubator temp stabalized for a full day and think I have spent far too many hours reading these message boards lol. If anyone has any words of wisdom for newbies please let me know:) Happy Hatching Everyone!
