    What's Your First Piece of Advice for Newbies?

    Do your homework before you get chickens they don’t take care of themselves that’s your job. Chooks drink a lot of water make sure it’s clean and fresh. Best thing I bought was a treadle feeder saved me so much money as it pretty much eliminates feed wastage.

    Hi. I have 4 new girls living a life of luxury and keeping me entertained.A Leghorn,an Australorp cross and 2 Silkies. I have kept chooks before but feel a little better informed about their care this time. Looking forward to picking up lots of tips from seasoned ‘eggsperts’ .
