    Horse Sounds "Nasaly" when Neighing, Tears Daily

    It could also be that his tear ducts are backed up. We had a mare that we had to have her tear ducts flushed once a year. Just a thought.

    We had a 30 yr old blind pony. She had a great quality of life for the 3 yrs we had her. She still gave pony rides to my kids.     That is a beautiful pony. Great pictures. If you lived closer, I have a pony club family that would buy him in a minute. I would price him around $5000-$6000 depending on the market in your are.

    This is my daughter and her Morgan Otis Our mini donkey Gus. My daughter and the welsh pony that she sponsors. They one high point at our county fair and have 2 qualifying scores for Jr. Championships for Dressage. Our horse Reggie.

    How do you ride bear back on a horse?

    Riding bareback is about having good balance and a loose seat. If you are stiff it will not be fun for you or the horse. I would start off just by walking, or have someone lunge you on your horse. Keep your legs under you not in front of you. My daughter loves riding bareback she is 12. Have fun.
