I am having the same issue with the odd bright blue/green poop and realized, thanks to one response, that I too had given them red cabbage. So glad it is nothing but really odd to look at!

I have dug around and can't find out how to place the eggs into my incubator (Brinsea 20 Advance.) I'm assuming they go in pointy side down? The incubator self-turns so that is taken care of, I just want to make sure the eggs are in the correct position.

I have a two week chick with the same issue - greatly relieved to read that it is not a tumor. They have had lots of grit and this one has not had sticky butt, so I will try the olive oil. Thanks everyone for writing in.
