    What is the latest you have had a pullet start laying?

    I need a topic that tells how to get DH to read these posts that tell that our chickens should lay an egg sometime in their lifetime again!! I keep telling him all the great reasons on here why they aren't, and that they should start again, but I think he's hungry!

    New chickens, no eggs.

    This gives me hope for the chickens I sort of 'inherited' about 10 days ago. I wanted a few young buffs, but got 7 big white chickens (Cornish?) Some have bands on their wings (again - ???) and they were supposedly laying before I got them. I can't really tell boys from girls yet - I haven't...
