Silkie has been getting worse and worse and I don’t know if she’s going to pull through. I called around for vets and nobody does chickens. She’s stopped eating by herself so I’ve been syringe feeding her. She just sleeps all day. I’m really praying that she makes it but she’s not getting any better
Her poops looked normal and solid all of yesterday and then this morning they were yellow again. I’ve been giving her water by syringe and she’s been eating a bit. Her crop empties normally.
I have four peachicks that are a couple months old now and I have a good idea of their genders but I just want to make sure.
I was thinking the two in the lower right were females and the others were males judging by the barring on their feathers.
The wormer I’ve been using is called Valbazen. Silkie seems to be feeling a bit better today but she still isn’t drinking by herself so I had her some by syringe. She had less of an appetite today. But she seemed to have more energy and her poop is looking a bit better
The winds gotten crazy here and it knocked over the pigeon coop! I grabbed them and put them in a separate cage in the laundry room until the wind calms down. I think my shelf setup got ruined in the process :(
She’s two, and I don’t know if it counts as a problem but she only just started laying since she used to be an indoor chicken but we moved her outside at the beginning of the summer.
