    You have a good point I think the coop maybe getting too small My silkie hens are broody right now and are hogging the nesting boxes I am going to make more room and see if that helps

    A few weeks ago i picked up two 16 month old hens. They were laying for the last year at their old house. I have had them for 3 weeks and they have not layed one single egg. I have increased the protein with eggs and cottage cheese but still nothing. What am I doing wrong???
