I have four peachicks that are about 8 weeks old. Three of them are marked alike and one different. I am posting a pic that has one of each. Can anybody tell me which is which?? Thank you! -
Bedding for Peachicks?
Mine are in a brooder on carpenters wire so droppings fall through. It is a box that is built in the corner about 3' off the ground so I can easily clean under it. I keep a piece of chicken wire over the top to keep them from flying out. Mine is a day old in with 2 chicks and under a heat... -

Well, only one hatched. Right now I have it in with 2 chicks. I did see a posting on craigslist today for week old peachicks, so I am going to get them tomorrow. We are going to get four and once they get bigger, my neighbor will be taking two of them. I am sad that three of my eggs didn't... -

I am going to give them until this weekend. Hopefully they do something. I am not sure how long the hen was off so that has me a bit worried. I have read of eggs hatching with a hen being off of them up to 8 hours.. There were 5 chicken eggs laid in that box that day, so it appears that one... -

It is getting so hard to be patient. We lost our peahen earlier this spring as she went off in the woods and laid a nest and something grabbed her off the nest. We found it and put the eggs under a broody hen. Well, those eggs were infertile as my pair of peafowl are only just turning two...
