Weird white bump on hen earlobe (photos)

Hi! I noticed a week ago a black looking scab on my hen’s ear. It has since grown what looks like a white bump underneath. Sort of like a pimple. Can anyone advise what to do?? I’m trying to just leave alone and observe her behavior to see if it bothers her, which it doesn’t seem to have...

Urgent: is this coccidia in chick?

Hi there. Woke up to bloody poops in the brooder and a clearly unwell chick. She is isolating, fluffed up, and even though she doesn’t have a red comb yet, her comb and face seem pale (not the usual vibrant yellow color). She is on a medicated chick feed, so is it possible she has coccidiosis...

Swollen eye (on one side), earlobes, waddle, and comb- help!

Swollen eye (on one side), earlobes, waddle, and comb- help!

Hatched on our homestead, hand fed and raised with tons of love. He needs a flock of his own girls, and unfortunately I can’t have roosters in our township. He’s an Ameraucana/ Rhose Island Red mix. Got the eggs from Middleton Place to incubate. I’m willing to drive up to 4 hours to rehome him...

New chicken mama in Summerville, SC

Good morning! I happened upon a few rescue hens from a local plantation I worked at part time. One is a white Silkie and the other a one-legged Dominique. Both are bonded and incredibly sweet. We thought the Dominique was past egg laying years as I had never seen her nest, but she recently...
