    For some crazy reason, my girls are not going inside when it rains. It’s 60 degrees out and I just realized they were out and didn’t go into their sheltered area or in the coop.     The ladder has mesh on top so they can grip it because it has open steps and the smaller birds can’t climb it.

    I’m pretty sure the red one is a rooster. I am looking for other opinions and does anyone know what breed it is? I hatched them and the lady I got them from told me they would be silver laced Wyandotte and that isn’t the case! They are about 2 months old.

    Hi. My chicks are 3 weeks old. Suddenly , two of them have started developing different combs from all the rest. One of them looks much more red. I think the one on the right might be me and the one on the left is female. Can anyone offer their experience?
