    Ahhh..Cathy, don't feel too bad. Sometimes a few of the chicks are just going to pass and there isn't much we can do about it. I was told to expect it with as many as we got this year. You are doing great! Hang in there, you'll have some adult chickens yet.....

    I had a smaller one in my group of 18 chicks we got back in March. One of the four black Jersey giants just was always smaller for quite some time. Now she's caught up and I can't tell which one it was. I was worried quite a bit about her too, but she ate, drank and pooped just fine...

    I'm kinda new to this too, we are in our second year of raising chicks and we lost one out of 18 this year.
