they are creatures of habit ... one must with confidence and care scoop them up and be held the same way (pisition) every time. then you have the joy of them pearching on your shoulder . the real test is how you react to the to the nervious or often happy poops
They make their own planet surface then lay every day eat bugs mid flight,just try not to share the biprodics with other critters . i only take picture at thier best (4 months old)
if I do not hang around at feeding time he gets grumpy... if I do not pick him up and hold him .... he get grumpy.... if i hold one of his hens he gets grumpy.... the best advise i could give would be to handle the little guy and call him by name...and hang around in side the coop at feeding times
I have used the expensive stuff ... and the cheap stuff....not much diffrence in health or happiness... still giving fresh produce every day and a bath on hot days... corn just makes them pleasingly plump.
Terrifying .... teflon in light bulbs ? got one from the dollar store ... teflon coated ... did not use it at all. If there is anything posible it would be in the compost... im just shocked to read this..... anyway please post your findings because it would be a benifit to all of us
