I candled it a few days ago before there was a crack and it looked like it was almost ready to hatch. And yes I’m about 90% sure she ate the baby chicks, and yes that’s why I took the other eggs away from her!

I bought all my babies from a local feed store. A few I bought a few weeks later then the others. I have one for sure rooster and one maybe rooster. They are all about 5 weeks old. And are New Hampshire reds, australorps, polish, and my bantam is a Cochin and he’s rooster.
Not exactly sure if this is the right place for this question. But here goes. I have a mix bantam and standard size chickens. I have a bantam rooster. Can I put a standard size rooster in with the mix or will the roosters fight. I have 10 chickens total.
How old do chicks need to be before I can give them scraps. Mine are about 4-5 weeks old and I have some left over corn on the cob and eaten corn cobbs. Can I give it to them? Are they too young?
