    The Orpingtons were sold out until then. I really want those so I bumped the whole order. The waiting is hard, especially since the local feed store has a bunch of chicks in stock.

    I'll be getting my first birds in the spring and have been looking at both bantams and Jersey giants. Would having such a large size difference in the coop cause problems; would the bantams get beat up, or hurt from being stepped on?
