I moved to Suffolk full time in August, 2010 from Virginia Beach. I have embraced the rural lifestyle and I love it. My life partner, Charlie bought this property and built the house on the west side of the Dismal Swamp wildlife refuge and the Carolina line. We see deer, bear, fox, coyote, eagle, hawk ... so I watch my girls. My mom loves feeding my girls tater-tots. I want to make the property a working permaculture dedicated, chicken keeping, greenhouse growing, fish farming,sustainable, zero waste, with pygora goats, whose wool I will shear, spin and knit into hats and socks. A true country woman!
