Thanks for confirming! Still waiting for my first eggs to come along!
Omelet might have really just gotten impatient about the door opening. There was no Melody attempt to that sound...
Before these chickens I had quails for years and came across a lot of wonky crows, some never learnt a good...
That's a relief! Because I saw it was one of them, either Eggroll or Omelett omitting that sound.
The brown one is my choc Orpington and she's a sweetheart.
The australorp was a question mark for a while, as she was younger lots of people said she could be a roo.
Hi team!
I've heard an odd sound in the morning, between 7-7.30am. It doesn't sound like full rooster, but I'm worried now that one or both of my wyandottes could be roosters... or can they just voice their impatience for the coop door to open at 7.30? Like a long stretched cry.
They are 6...
Thanks guys!
Really happy to have confirmation! I'll give the cockerels another couple of weeks before rehoming them. Living in suburbia I can't keep roosters unfortunately.
Hi team!
my bantams are reaching 8-9 weeks of age!
I've got 3 columbian wyandottes, 2 australorps and a chocolate orpington.
The largest wyandotte has a pretty red comb and looked like trying to crow this morning. The other two are a faint pink. Am I correct with 1m and 2f?
The australorps...
