Got 6 of these guys at the tsc and they are from the assorted straight run, what are we thinking of breed, I’ll sex them as they get older they all look like this or some variation of it. They was in a marked down bin and are all the same type.
It is usually shorten to Dom, if you google them Dom Gamefowl is the easiest way to pull them up for breed history. They are a game fighting breed but mine aren’t they are just homestead chickens and I have only one roo
I have mostly show gamefowl now, the Dominique line, red hatch and black hatch lines but my curiosity is I also have some barred rock hens and was curious on their chicks if hatched of their looks, eggs color, etc and they would they be sex linked or no? Temperature are very calm not fiesty.
So I have a pair of Khaki Campbells and just acquired 2 ducklings I believe are Cayugas. So to my knowledge if one or both of these ducklings are hens and are bred to my drake their offspring will be Sex-Link correct? But my actual question is their offspring if I kept a few hens from them and...
Say we fought to keep it going but 1- 3 years is all that coop could handle this upgraded one should be a very long term investment and my girls are starting to love it!
They are a type of Blue Laced Red Wyandotte but what makes them splash is they have 2 copies of the blue gene so makes them white looking that’s my adult hens.
