I started with Golden Comets they are heavy layers. I lost two to animals before I covered the top. I also lost two, we think to panic. life span of chicken
I have had a lot of fun with my chickens. I had thought they died around three years. I also thought they only laid up to the age of two. So, I got more thinking the old ones were soon to expire but they are alive and well.- KrisK
