Please help...Came home from work and found 2 newly hatched chicks dead

Thank you. None of the others have cracks in them, I've left them under her will keep an eye on her. If they are all different breeds then isn't there a chance they will hatch at different times?

PLEASE help, my chick just ate a hair tie.

Marie, I wish I would have read your post 5 minutes earlier. My girls favorite treat is raw rolled oasts mixed with plain yogurt. They demolish it almost before I get to take a picture! They look so funny with the yogurt sticking to their beaks..but they wipe off the extra in the grass then eat...

It is so hot I just put them in their own area and they have done great, It is one of the prefab chicken areas that I bought and decided it way way to small, before I built my own larger area for the girls. No need for heat source, only a box fan when we...

More like spoilt chickens. Today they got cold grapes, watermelon, and a few cold blueberries. Though it wasn't as hot as yesterday. Lovely evening here in Florida.

Anyone ever moved cross country and tried to start up a veggie garden

My neighbor is so sweet and in her 70's. She taught me about the baby grass hoppers that if you don't stomp on them when they are small will eat everything in sight when they are 3 inches big! And her garden is raised, covered with rolls of mulch to keep the water in and always has tons of...

I have been trying to figure out what they could be. On one thread it said to look at the bottom of the black onesfeet to see if...

So glad! You remind me of my daughter. She leaves her hair ties all over. After your post I checked all around the pool out back..sure enough I found 2! My hens free range with supervision when I'm in the back yard. I made sure I didn't have anyhair ties where they could find them. I was hopeful...
