We let our girls out for a few hours every evening and they never go far. Around dusk they find their way back to the coop. If we need to put them up early I just go out and sort of herd them back towards the coop.- KristieB

I've been lurking for a few weeks and figured I should introduce myself. We recently brought home our mixed flock. Polish Crested! Roo or pullet?
So glad I found this thread! We picked up a polish crested a couple of months ago and since it's started feathering out I was concerned it may be a roo. But Alberta (as my daughter named her) looks very similar to your pullet.- KristieB
