    Help. Prolapse vent with dark areas with white oozing.

    I haven’t seen any pecking, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. I do have her in a kennel in our garage. I haven’t seen her eat or drink (water has vitamins and electrolytes in it), but she hasn’t been in there long. What is the best way to give the calcium w D?

    I have a 22week old buff Orpington. I’ve soaked her, put Vaseline on it and gently pushed it back in. It came back out about 10 minutes later. I then read to put honey on it before gently pushing it back in so I did that. There’s white ooze slightly and dark areas that I thought was poo, but...

    I’m in the same spot with my buff Orpington. I’ve soaked her, put Vaseline on it and gently pushed it back in. Concerned about some dark spots on it.
