    I just went in to collect eggs and inspect boxes and found she did lay another softie.. most likely last night.. i’m pretty sure this one had a yolk.

    It’s pretty chilly here this morning and it seems it may be a bit frozen but here’s what it looks like now.. like i said earlier it’s just a tiny speck of something :confused: not sure what exactly. and also there was poop when i flipped it.. not sure if she went in the box before she passed...

    I do still have it 😕 I inspected a bit more and didn’t find a yolk inside, just the albumen and some weird real tiny speck of what seemed like flesh with some blood..

    UPDATE!! Sunday afternoon, Pickles became pretty lethargic and stayed in one spot until dark. I took her inside the house (in a dog crate with a basket filled with hay in case she ended up laying) and was about to do the Epsom salt 20-minute soak...     We got them each a box, they used to sleep in them but since it has started getting chilly they are roosting more. Thanks for the tip! We will be taking out the 2 boxes that aren't being used and putting in a bigger roost tomorrow ☺️
