    Adding new chickens

    Thanks for the advice! I live in Southwest Ohio, currently in the 80s! Yes this is the first year for our flock! We had 4 reds but one got eaten by a raccoon . Generally the temperament is really good besides for my red who likes to pin down the barred rocks

    Coop too small??

    The only time they are put away is if I leave. Other then that they are out. When they are confined they have access to the coop and the run. The coop is raised so they can get out of the weather.

    I currently have 8 rr and 3 br in a coop that is 5x10. Run is 10x10. The chickens free range most of the day. They only use the coop to lay and roost. Would I be ok to add 4 more to the flock?? We have 4 nesting bars so there are plenty of places to roost.
