I’m heartbroken. It’s taken hours to write this.
One of two females died in the duck house last night.
She separated herself from the quack pack yesterday, and didn’t eat.
I picked her up, checked her, and told her that I love her, knowing that she wouldn’t walk out with the others this...
I had my ducks bitten several times now. They are relentless in attacking the dogs. Once they do, I lock them up in a small section of the yard.
I let them out after 30 mins.
After a week of this, the attacks have decreased significantly.
I‘m waiting for one of the dogs to attack and kill a duck.
He threw up most of the day.
The throw up has all the food he ate, and a long green plant like thing. I think that’s what did it. None of the others did.
He hasn’t puked today so far.
Poop looks normal.
All- one of my ducks keeps ducking her head to the right while walking. Almost tapping the ground, but not quite. Started yesterday.
should I be concerned?
I can’t find a place here to post a 7 second video.
Hello 8 years later! 😃
This week, all four of my ducks stopped eating. This reply helped me so much. Just wanted to thank you. They’re feeling feisty, and are eating.
The covid lockdown has placed a lot of people in need of food.
I‘ll be giving eggs to them. Growing veggies for the same reason. And if they have an adequate yard, give them a few birds with some food, for the same purpose.
Can I report my own post for being so darn adorable? 😃
I‘m giving these to people in need when they are older.
So thankful for the opportunity to help others through duckies!
Absolutely grateful right now. ❤️
