I just found out that it is the barred rock that is laying the blue/green eggs. Maybe she is not a barred rock? What breed is she? Thank you.

What breeds are these 2? The blue one has yellow on the bottom of her feet. The barred rock has lighter feathers on her head which are different than our other barred rocks. And one of them is laying blue green eggs. Can someone help me and tell me what breeds they are and which one is laying...

my hens will squeal on the roost at night. They make an eee eee eee sound. What does it mean? Sometimes followed with purring

We have 8 7 month old hens. 4 are New Hampshire reds and 4 are Australorps. They attacked my husbands 12 year old Pomeranian and I would like to know why they would do this. Thank you.
