    I’ve been trying to be good too but black walnut divinity is my biggest weakness. My mom and I are the only ones that like black walnuts so we only made a single batch of it thank goodness.

    I’m always scared to do leg bands on chicks. I worry I’ll end up forgetting and have a bunch of one legged chickens.

    Three batches and 4hrs later I’m finally done, one cherry, one black walnut and one pecan. Now back to chickens, I think I’ll order some wingbands. Have you ever put them on older birds? I have some around two months old I’d like to keep track of.

    I see you use wing bands, would you mind telling us a little about them and how you like them compared to leg bands? Any problems with feathers growing under them? Do other birds pick at them? Any info would be nice, I’ve kind of wanted to start using them but didn’t know if they’re any good.
