Crested Ducklings?
Gosh too bad you are so far away. I wouldn't have a clue how to mail a duckling. I have some mighty cute crested magpie/east indies crosses. One has a full crest! K- kurby

how in the heck are we supposed to live these days
we have already buckled down. We have slaughtered a pig, and a calf. We have chickens for eggs and meat if necessary. We are down to 1 trip a month to town which is 21 miles 1 way, We have a 1 ton truck and can't afford to get rid of them for farm reasons, so it costs now 20.00 for a trip to...- kurby

Pooping in the nest box
I have no help for you, and would like to here some advice as well. I have some youngins around 1yr starting to lay and they are in the nest boxes poopin and sleeping. I have a roost in there but, some stay in the nest! grrrr K- kurby

Willow, I can only say I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you get whatever that was that killed them. I am thinking weasel, and yes I have heard they can kill that many. They are gultens! 9 week old pullets
What all can I feed my pullets? I have been giving them just the chick starter. My question is this, can they have whole oats and corn chops too? Will it help them grow? Or just stay with the the starter? K- kurby
