Yes they have a very nice warm set up. This picture is literally from when I first caught them. I used a butterfly net cage to bring them inside. Now they have a box with a heat lamp :) and thank you!
No, mama chicken popped up in my horse pens with them. Unfortunately she didn’t make it because of our dog and neither did most of the babies. After rescuing the 4 left behind, only 3 survived.
I have her separated from the rest because they pick on her. But I have a nice heating pad for her that she loves. Thank you for the advice it helped! :)
Definitely use a little nutri drench on the lethargic babies. Don’t over do it though (I learned the hard way) another thing that helps is putting electrolytes in the water for 1 day. They should perk up. Best of luck!
Your little babies are so cute! And welcome :) by any chance do you know why you lost those 3 or were they showing any symptoms of being sick? I have a sick little baby right now that I’m nursing back to health so that’s why I ask. Best of luck raising these cuties! ♥️
