Here is a pic of her (bottom) with one of the other barred rocks (top) I bought the same day, for funsies. ;-)
It's hard to get 2 in one pic. LOL
ETA: which chick was which
This is kinda fun. ;-) I'm not really concerned, but entertained. LOL
Thank you all for the replies!
My whole family thinks the chickens are just great! This started as just to have eggs, but has turned into loved pets/hobby. So much fun!
How often and how long should I put Vaseline on their legs?
Two have a good case of them and the others look minor.
I hope this works. ;-)
ETA: I already searched for a while and haven't come up with any specific answer.
Oh, I'm not planning on culling. I'll try to re-home this one (if it does turn out to be a roo) or the 1 yr old that's outside.
If I can't re-home then he'll probably be stew. He has a long while till then. ;-)
The babies make me so happy! So cute with all the chest bumping. LOL
My thoughts are Roo. Wider comb area, no dark spots on the legs, and lighter coloring than the other 2 Barred Rocks I purchased. ;-)
I know Tractor Supply isn't always correct in their labeling and that's ok. I was just wondering for fun since the tub said pullets. LOL. ;-)
Hugs! Many many hugs and prayers!
How are YOU holding up? Taking time for yourself? Finding local support of wives who have been though what you're going through?
I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
